Perform assembly of repetitive electrical components for
custom and standard production machines. Places parts in
specified relationship to each other for assembly of various
subassemblies. Bolts, clips, screws, cements, presses, taps
holes, welds or otherwise fastens parts together. Read and
understand electrical schematics for properly wiring to
electrical components, terminal strips and power connections.
Able to follow the layout drawing of the electrical sub
panels for locating and attaching to the panel. Builds electrical
harness and cables for electrical enclosures. Neatly routing
and securing interface cables on the machine for access
to the electrical enclosures.
Preferred experience of wiring industrial machinery. Requires
good understanding of electrical components and skills of
routing cables on machines. Neatness and accuracy required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and procedure
manuals. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry
out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
The employee is required to stand, use hands to finger,
handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands
and arms and stoop kneel, crouch or crawl.
Associate degree (Electrical Engineering Technology or
equivalent from a two year college or technical school.
Or three to five years related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic hand tools must be supplied by applicant.
